Phase 1 of the SECCA project – Sustainable Energy Connectivity in Central Asia has come to an end following the third and final session, which took place from January 28 to 31, 2025, in Almaty, Kazakhstan

🌟  We are pleased to announce that Index Consulting Company together with its partners has been awarded a contract to develop a GIS and hydraulic modeling for water supply systems of the Surkhandarya province within the EBRD’s project being implemented in the province.

 From 14 to 16 January 2025, Index Consulting Company specialists visited the city of Nukus as part of a fact-finding mission to prepare a cogeneration project.

From 8 to 10 January 2025, Index Consulting Company specialists held a field meeting and technical supervision at the construction sites of the Rabat, Chappasu and Tamshush mini HPPs being built on the Aksu River under the Sustainable Hydropower Project.

Exciting News! We are proud to announce that a consortium of companies led by Index Consulting Company has been awarded the contract for the development of the Feasibility Study for the Surum Wastewater Treatment Plant. 

🔹 Index Consulting Company is awarded the contract for preparation of the projects aimed at modernization and construction of the cogeneration and trigeneration facilities in several provinces of Uzbekistan. The projects, once implemented, will enhance reliability of the heating systems coupled with power generation, enabling the power supply sustainability. The projects are unique, as they entail implementation of the cooling systems under the trigeneration technology, making them the first of its kind in Central Asia.

🔹 From November 26 to 28, 2024, the Index Consulting Company team, together with representatives of AFRY, conducted a working visit to the Surkhandarya region as part of the 1600 MW CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) "Surkhandarya" project.

🔹 On November 5, 2024 in Gallaaral district of Jizzak region Index Consulting Company specialists held public hearings as part of the work on the development of the feasibility study of the sugar factory construction project. This important event is aimed at informing the local population about the details of the project and answering questions related to its implementation.

🌟 Exciting News! Index Consulting Company and its partner have been awarded a contract under the Asian Development Bank's Leveraging Private Sector to Deliver Inclusive, Affordable, and Climate-Resilient Housing in Central and West Asia project.

💡We are pleased to announce that two ICC team members are proudly representing Uzbekistan as junior non-key experts at the first 2024 session of the SECCA project - Sustainable Energy Connectivity in Central Asia, currently taking place in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 

🔹 Within the framework of development and implementation of the feasibility study of the projects on construction of the main water pipeline “Yakkabog-Karshi” (Lot 1) and reconstruction of existing wells and water distribution facilities for the city of Karshi (Lot 2), a meeting of representatives of the construction company Eiffage Genie Civil and Index Consulting Company LLC with Kashkadaryo Suv Ta'minoti JSC was held. 

🚀 Index Consulting Company team is engaged in the preparation of the ESIA and LALRP studies for the construction of solar power plants and a battery energy storage system in Samarkand region. 

🌟Great news! Index Consulting Company team is engaged in the preparation of the feasibility study report for construction of the water pipeline, rehabilitation of pumping stations and water wells in Kashkadarya region.

🔹 On 11 July 2024 in the city of Andijan, Index Consulting Company specialists held a public hearing to familiarise the population with the project "Improving Mutual Interconnection of Markets and Electricity Trade in the Central Asia Region". During the meeting, residents and specialists discussed questions, opinions and suggestions, which allowed identifying key aspects requiring additional attention. 
 

🔹 On 10 July 2024, INDEX CONSULTING COMPANY specialists held public hearings in the cities of Fergana and Rishtan to familiarise stakeholders with the project "Improving Mutual Interconnection of Markets and Electricity Trade in the Central Asian Region". 

🔹 On July 9, 2024 Index Consulting Company held a working meeting with the employees of JSC "Namangan suv ta'minoti" within the framework of the project "Corporate Development and Transformation Programme" financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

🌟 Exciting News! Index Consulting Company and its partner has been awarded a contract under the "Enhancing Private Sector Participation in Agriculture" project of the Asian Development Bank.

🔹 On 28 June 2024, within the framework of the programme financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a meeting between representatives of Index Consulting Company and employees of "Qashqadaryo suv ta'minoti" JSC was held. The purpose of the visit was to establish a close partnership and discuss key aspects of the joint project.

🔹 Within the framework of the EBRD-financed project "Corporate Development and Transformation Programme", Index Consulting Company held a working meeting with the staff of JSC "Surxondaryo suv ta'minoti" on 26-27 June 2024. The purpose of the visit was to establish close co-operation and discuss key aspects of the project.

🔹 In the period from 24 to 25 June 2024, Index Consulting Company specialists visited Xorazm suv ta'minoti JSC within the framework of the project "Corporate Development and Transformation Programme. Funded by EBRD." implemented with EBRD financing. During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the company, which allowed to establish a constructive dialogue and discuss key aspects of the project.
