Field Visit to Fergana and Tashkent Regions for the District Heating Modernization Feasibility Study

🔷From 7 to 8 July 2026, specialists from Index Consulting Company conducted a comprehensive field visit to the Fergana and Tashkent regions as part of the development of a Feasibility Study (FS) for the modernization of district heating systems in Navoiy, Fergana, and Tashkent regions.

The business trip was aimed at conducting an audit of engineering utilities in the cities of Angren and Fergana to evaluate the operational parameters of the local infrastructure, surveying the site for the construction of a new combined heat and power plant (CHPP) in Fergana, and determining optimal routing for heating networks in the target areas.

Following the field visit, the experts studied the planned work sites in detail and compiled a body of primary studies required to determine the scope of further surveys.
