Index Consulting Company LLC and its partner Dolsar have been awarded the contract for providing the services of a technical consultant and lead the team of legal and financial components consultants to support the development of 5 small and medium hydropower plants with total installed capacity of 46,6 MW, under the PPP modality, funded by the International Development Association (IDA).

Index Consulting Company LLC will support the project by reviewing the available data of the technical, environmental and social streams, geotechnical geophysical surveys, conceptual designs, hydrological and load flow studies, costing, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), Land Acquisition and Resettlement Framework (LARF), gender action plan, and a grievance redress mechanism, among others.

In structuring the competitive bids, the company will support in review and consideration of the technical and qualification requirements for bids, assist in preparation of the PPP agreement, Grid connection agreement, GSA etc.

This is the first ever project under the PPP modality being implemented in the hydropower sector of Uzbekistan, and Index Consulting Company LLC is pioneering into the field, as per its short-term growth strategy.
