Index Consulting Company Conducts Site Inspections for EBRD and World Bank Projects in Uzbekistan

On March 12 and 13, ICC specialists focused on the “Modernization of Water Supply and Sewerage System in Namangan region” project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The inspection covered the following components: 

• Construction of Central Laboratory
• Reconstruction of Water Pipelines and Street Networks in Namangan city
• Reconstruction of Zhiydakapa Water Intake
• Supply and Installation of Hypochlorite Production Equipment at Kizil-Ravat Water Intake

On March 14, ICC specialists turned their attention to the “District Heating Energy Efficiency project in Andijan, Chirchik, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent” project, funded by the World Bank. The inspection focused on the following components in Andijan:

• Construction of boiler house with total capacity of 110 MW
• Rehabilitation of external electric distribution networks
• Modernization of boiler house, replacement of heating mains, installation of ITP with heat metering devices

These site inspections were conducted as part of ICC’s commitment to ensuring social and environmental responsibility in all projects they undertake.
