The project aims to improve drinking water supply in the Kashkadarya region by constructing an 84 km gravity pipeline from Yakkabog to Karshi and rehabilitating four well fields and associated infrastructure. Financed through a DG Tresor loan, the assignment requires preparation of two Project Concepts and Project Evaluation Documents (PEDs) in accordance with Presidential Decree PP-51 to enable project approval and implementation. The scope includes detailed technical assessments and concept design for the pipeline, well fields and up to 120 wells; preparation of environmental and social studies (local and IFC-aligned ESIA, socio-economic surveys, consultations, LARF, ESMP); development of procurement arrangements; and financial–economic analysis to evaluate project justification, expected benefits, and long-term sustainability.
